Investing on the stock market from the age of 14, Patrick became familiar with the financial and investment markets from an early age. On the age of 20, Patrick bought his first property in Elviria Beach, in those days nothing more than sandy dunes around Don Carlos hotel. After studying business economics at the Erasmus university in Rotterdam he graduated and got his masters in marketing.

Speaks 4 languages, is a passionate traveler and reader of business literature, broadening his scope and giving new, inspiring ideas. He spends lots of time building up relationships with his customers of whom many become friends.

Jan Kolen M.Sc. - company owner

A passion for Spain and the beautiful scenery of Andalucia were the main reasons for him to sell his veterinarian clinic in Holland at the age of 48. He has a passion for good quality of life and living in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. However, being entrepeneur, he returned to Holland to start a professional real estate education. After completing his study and being a certified agent he bought 15 plots of land in Elviria and developed villa's on them.

Apart from scrolling down the coast looking for investment opportunities, Jan spends lots of time gardening. His never exhausting ambition to learn new things in life also explains why Jan is fluent in 5 languages.

Edwin Antonius Van Gorp - sales director

Edwin has been living in Spain for over 6 years now and has undertaken several exciting
business startups in photography, DVD productions and tourism industry. His passion for properties, especially in the luxury market of Marbella, made him decide to join Prestige Estates. As he shares the same vision, spirit and ambitions, he quickly proved to be of tremendous value to the company since he joined Prestige in 2005.

Edwin is fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish and has a good level of the German language.

Carina Bauer - after-sales / office management

After working two years in the Hotel Business on the Costa de Sol, Carina joined our team since May 2005. Originally she is from Germany, she speaks German, English & Spanish fluently and also is familiar with French. She has a passion for languages and at the moment she is studying Dutch.

Carina is in charge of the after sales service which is a very important element of our customer care philosophy. From snagging lists, helping with the NIE number (tax number for non-residents), mortgages, furniture, to connecting the water & electricity, Carina is pleased to help and support you.
