The area east of Marbella, which stretches from Cabopino to Rio Real has one of Marbella´s finest, longest and sandiest beaches. Cabopino has a picturesque harbour together with lovely sea view restaurants. Coming further towards Marbella you find areas such as Las Chapas, Elviria, (with Santa Maria Golf) El Rosario and Los Monteros (with Rio Real Golf).
All areas are close to the beach and have easy access to roads and restaurants. This eastern part of Marbella is known and sought-after for its excellent accessibility to shops, golf, beaches and Marbella. The scenery is generally green, with pine trees, residential villa urbanizations, new low density apartment complexes and green zones.
Elviria is a sought after community located about 15 minutes east of Marbella. It is well equipped with services, amenities and entertainment facilities. Because this is a coastal urbanization, many homes are within walking distance of the beach.
Cabopino port offers nearby moorage to Elviria residents with Malaga's international airport only50 kilometers away. Health services are also nearby in the form of one of Málaga's most prestigious hospitals, Hospital Costa del Sol. Also on site is the English School serving primary and secondary students. The area's five star luxury Don Carlos Hotel is a local landmark and just one of the many 5 star hotels available in this area.
