For golf lovers the area of Elviria is a paradise. In the area of Elviria there are two great golf courses; the Santa Maria golf course and the popular 9 hole par 3 Greenlife Golf.
The Santa Maria golf course is a very popular golf course and has been in the Elviria area since 1991. It offers an 18 hole championship course situated amongst pine trees and with some holes offering spectacular sea and mountain views. The first nine holes were designed by the famous Antonio Garcia Garrido. The second nine holes were designed in 1996 and are situated higher up the hills offering great views, a beautiful lake and a waterfall. The beautiful and charming nineteenth century clubhouse is a great place to relax after a great day of golf.
The Greenlife Golf course offers a sublime nine hole course amongst the beautiful hills of Elviria. The course offers a challenge to players who want to improve their short play. Though the holes are not long they are spectacular and set amongst the olive and cork trees. For a lunch break or an after golf dinner the restaurant El Lago, situated on the golf course offers a great variety of exclusive dishes. The restaurant is awarded with a Michelin star for its beautiful cuisine.
